My studio is a 15 minute drive from my home. In that 15 minutes, I drive two miles down Memorial Drive. “Memorial Drive Journal” is a record, a real journal, of what I encounter driving down that street. It has become my most awarded and recognized series of paintings. The paintings started as a satire, but they have become a record of our common experience as humans on this earth.
